The Alpinebiker.com blog
When AlpineBiker.com started life in 2009, it was primarily to promote my tours, but I soon realised that behind every ride there is a story, that pictures tell a thousand words, and that where I rode was not only very special, but was in countries and on roads many would love to ride and maybe not get the chance.
With this in mind, I started what has now entered it’s 7th year of story telling via my blog. To date there are over 320 posts and hundreds of photos, recounting the tales of rides I’ve been on, experiences of touring in 15 countries throughout Europe; of trackdays on 14 different circuits in France, Germany, Spain and the UK; impressions of bikes owned and ridden, and countless other bike related issues.
Contained within these posts are stories from over 30 years and 285,000kms+ of my riding and enjoyment of the world of motorcycling, I hope you find something in here of interest, I’ve had a great time creating this blog and recounting these tales has brought back many great memories.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing a few of them!
